Yes, absolutely. This is a common and recommended pattern. You fetch the horoscopes from our API (e.g. once a day), store them on your backend, and serve from your cache. There is no time limit on how long you can store the data — the content is yours once fetched.
For French, do you use "tu" or "vous"? Do you handle grammatical gender?
Neither. The French content uses an impersonal style with infinitive constructions and third-person phrasing (e.g. "Profiter de l'énergie positive", "Faire confiance à ses instincts"). This is intentional so the text works regardless of how your app addresses users. There is no masculine/feminine distinction — the tone is gender-neutral.
How are daily horoscopes generated? Are they AI-written?
Horoscopes are algorithmically generated based on real astronomical data — actual planetary transits, moon phases, and astrological aspects calculated via the Swiss Ephemeris. The content is derived from astrological rules combined with a curated library written by astrologers. No AI/LLM is involved in sun-sign daily horoscope generation. A suitable disclaimer: "Horoscope content generated from astronomical planetary positions and astrological interpretation rules."
Can I fetch all 12 signs in a single request?
Currently it's one call per sign. For 12 signs x 3 languages, that's 36 requests per day. Each response is fast (~200ms), so the full batch completes in under 10 seconds.
At what time (UTC) are daily horoscopes updated?
There is no specific refresh time. Responses are deterministic based on the date, so you can call at any time of day and get the same result for a given date.
For a given date and sign, is the response deterministic?
Yes, fully deterministic. For a given combination of date + sign + language, the response is always identical. The system uses a SHA-256 seed derived from those parameters. Safe to cache and retry without worrying about inconsistencies.
Do I need to show any attribution when serving your content from my cache?
No. There is no required attribution or branding. You are free to present the content under your own brand.
